Katelyn Ross
Katelyn Ross is the Head Coach at Garibaldi Softball Academy, a partnership between School District 42 and Ridge Meadows Minor Softball Association (RMMSA). Katelyn also was the head coach of the perfect season mite selects This season consisted of 43 wins, 0 ties, 0 losses, 3 gold medals, and a provincial championship title.
Katelyn was one of the first RMMSA players to receive an international scholarship. She played 2 years for a Division 1 Junior College in Kansas and 2 years with Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where she completed her degree.
Over her fast pitch career, Katelyn has been honoured with many awards including Golden Glove awards, All Conference awards, Stolen Base records, and On Base Average records. She has competed in a NJCAA national tournament.
Katelyn has a personal and informative knowledge when it comes to filming recruitment videos, out fielding, mid in-fielding, bunting and right handed hitting/ left handed slapping. In addition, she has a professional background with direct training to high levels of elite athletics. Katelyn also holds a Softball Guinness World Record with team Canada athlete Larissa Franklin. Most consecutive throws in a hour, pair crushed the previous record of 1800, making it to 2278 completed legal throws.

Kelly Stead
Kelly Stead has been a coach for over 23 years and is currently a Coach for the synergy travel team, and multiple “A” division rep teams as well as the players.Garibaldi Softball Academy, a partnership between School District 42 and Ridge Meadows Minor Softball Association (RMMSA). He has his NCCP Level 1, Level 2, ethics and Certification. He has 2 years of Advanced Coach Training through Douglas Community College.
His coaching achievements include:
• 2006 Western Canadian Bronze Medal
• Synergy Team in 2011, 2012 and 2015
• 2012 Senior Women’s Provincial Bronze
• 2011 U14 Provincial Silver
• Between 2008 and 2010 – Gold Medalists in World Series Utah, USA
• 2 Provincial Silver Medals, One Gold and One Bronze
Kelly was also an assistant for the U10 Rep A pride team. This team has a season Record of 43 wins-0 losses and 0 tied games . They also won 3 gold medals and are provincial champions of their division.
Kelly is known for encouraging players of all ages and levels to play at their full potential and to exceed their expectations. Kelly has connections to schools and coaches in the USA who contact him for his expertise and recruitment. He has sent players who have played in Conference Championships, played USA College Nationals with some breaking college records.

Scott Tulloch
Scott Tulloch experiences range from playing and coaching baseball at Dickinson State University, as well as a play/representative of Team Canada at the World Baseball Challenge. In 2014 he took the title of Senior Men’s Nation Championship in Newfoundland. He brings a wealth of experience from his baseball career and athletic endeavors, as well as from his career as a sports performance coach. He works year round with softball/baseball organizations where he specializes in fundamental training and performance enhancement.
Scott still holds many records at the collegiate level and was well recognized by the conference of his achievements most notably receiving the Dakota Athletic Conference MVP, First Team All-Region, Golden Glove & First Team All-Conference Awards and NWAAC Conference.
He holds a Bachelors in University Studies, Baseball Instructor/Coach, Personal Trainer (NCCPT). He competed for the Blue Hawks baseball team in the 2006-2009 season. He also competed with the Seward County Community College & Douglas College in 2004 to 2005.

Heather Holland
Pitching Coach + GSS School rep
The Garibaldi Softball Academy wants to ensure the athletes not only transition into the softball program, but also transition into school.
Heather Holland is our teacher rep and has extensive experience as both a softball player, former pitcher, kinesiologist and coaching variety of age and competitive level athletes.
- Heather has studied and practiced her skills for over 23 years and has 23 years experience pitching.
- Heather played highly competitive softball and has competed in numerous provincial championships, medaling gold on multiple occasions and currently part of the seniors woman’s softball league.
- Heather is part of our academy’s conditioning coaching staff which ensures athletes train appropriately and work with their current And previous injuries.
- Heather assists with supporting 360 Elite athletes through the academy program and is a teacher at Garibaldi Secondary School. Heather has been teaching Math, Science and PE for 5 years now.
